In the Fluteful Thinking flute studio, I keep an encouraging and positive atmosphere to keep you motivated and eager to learn. I have many techniques and exercises that I have developed in my years of playing that truly helped me in all the times I did not want to practice. Practicing and playing our instrument by nature may not always be fun, but I guarantee to provide you the resources to make it as exciting as possible!

what's my teaching style?
I am very aware to what each student needs. If I notice a student getting a bit overwhelmed, I am always happy to adjust according to plan. I am extremely flexible and never expect an exact timeline for goals to be met, well, because life happens! Growth should never have an end date, so there is never any rush in lessons!
My teaching style morphs a bit according to the student. Some students may need more flexibility, while some may be more straight to the point. I can easily accommodate to what the student needs and will communicate with them on what will work to maximize learning.
I also promise to make lessons fun! I make sure that lessons are something that my students look forward to each week. Lessons, of course, are for learning, but they should never be something a student fears or dreads. I understand that life happens and can be a lot sometimes, so I want my students to have lessons as a time where they can just have fun playing their instrument and learning in a positive and encouraging way!
